“Everybody comes to Rick’s.”

Yes, I do. It’s called Rick’s Recipes, and it has all the recipes that are here on this blog and more, 52 in all.
I started it in 2009. Since then, whenever I cook food that I really like I take a photo of it, and write up the recipe. I call this “home cooking from my kitchen to yours!” There’s no test kitchen, just my kitchen.
Many of the recipes are derivative from other cookbooks (I have over 100) that I have consulted over the years. I often give an existing recipe a tweak or two. Some of them come to me from nowhere I can recall. If you would like to know about my long love affair with cooking and my many influences go here.
While you can find most of them here on the pull-down menu called “Recipes” at “Rick’s Recipes” it’s all cooking, no sermons, no book or movie reviews, no politics, no hymns, no rants. So, if you’re here just for my nice food you can find it without all the rest.
I’ve also just made a real cookbook out of Rick’s Recipes to give as Christmas presents to my family. But you can see them all for free on-line here.
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed making them.
